200-HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Path for Healing Teacher Development offers participants the chance to dive deeply into the teachings and practices of yoga in an intimate setting designed for immersive, compassion-based study and exploration. The 8 month long program will meet one weekend or twice times per month (Friday-Sunday) plus one weekday via zoom, and will cover:

• Self-care, lifestyle, ethics

• Teaching techniques and practice: asanas, pranayama, kriyas, chanting, mantra, meditation

• Teaching methodology, boundaries, and yoga off the mat 

• Anatomy, subtle anatomy and physiology (Eastern and Western approaches)


• Yoga Philosophy, yoga Styles 

• Legal aspects of teaching, your path as teachers.

This opportunity is open to all who are interested in deepening their practice and knowledge of the sacred science of yoga and would like to share their teachings with others.  Applicants must have previous experience practicing  and familiarity with the main poses.The program was  created  by Yoga Path founder Juliana Machado and  co-taught with  Rebecca Posner and other experienced guest teachers.

Fees 

• Application: no fee

• Deposit: $500 (nonrefundable) by Sep. 15th

• Remaining Cost: $2,800 (does not include books)

A nine module program from October 2020 to May 2021:  

• October 16,17,18

• October 30, 31, Nov 1

• November 20,21,22

• December 11,12,13

• January 02, 03, 04

• January 22, 23, 24

• February 12,13,14 

• March 05, 06, 07

• March 25, 26, 27

• April 8, 9, 10

• April 30, May 1, 2.

• May 22nd, Final Graduation Ceremony

• Wednesdays (minus the weeks of immersion, 7PM to 9PM via zoom).

• F. 5PM - 8PM  Sat. 10:30AM -  6:30PM  Sun. 9:30 - 4:30PM (1 hour break Sat.& Sun.) 

•  The group will be divided, to rotate between online attendance and studio attendance for the weekends, until we feel safer to gather all at yoga path studio. Ex: Module I: Group A attends Friday & Sunday and Group B attends Saturday. The schedule alternates during Module II when Group A attends Saturday at studio and Group be Friday and Sunday. All will be joining all sessions either via Zoom or present.
